Come and learn about the iconic Coastal Pandanus
Pandanus is an iconic coastal plant, but sadly, the future of Northern Queensland and New South Wales specific-populations are being threatened by a stem-sucking leaf-hopper (Jamella australiae).
Join Pandanus expert, Joel Fostin, to learn about what City of Gold Coast is doing to combat this problem; learning about what critters and creatures use the trees while participating in a coastal flora and fauna ‘Citizen Science’ exercise as part of the Great Southern BioBlitz 2021 where data is collected for the iNaturalist platform.
