I started off as a weed scientist and graduated to cropping systems. I have retained my interest in weeds but am also interested in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) which embraces interactions between weeds, insects (pest and beneficial) and plant diseases. I live and work in NW Cambodia, so my subjects are tropical - lowland rice plus upland maize, soybean, mungbean etc.
