My name is Gabriel Mayrhofer and I'm from Austria. I'm 22 years old and am just getting started with my study of landscape planning at BOKU. Before that i went to a highschool for environmental and economic studies in Yspertal, Lower Austria. I have a great interest for systematics of all kind. Most of my biological knowledge is bound to botany and the ecology of a few types of habitats especially at the east end of the molasse basin. I have a somewhat good eye for Pteridophyta.

As I visit the Pyrenees occasionally, I have also gathered some understanding of the Flora of Catalonia.
