I am a Brazilian biologist and my research interest relies on behavioral ecology, including defense mechanisms, sexual selection, and especially parental care. The projects conducted in my laboratory at University of São Paulo integrate observational studies, experimental manipulations, theroretical models, and comparative analyses to answer questions on the evolution of behavior. My work covers a variety of taxa, including harvestmen, spiders, earwigs, dragonflies, and frogs.
