I am a retired environmental professional and a biologist. In my 40+ year career I worked on several different terrestrial and aquatic issues related to native, endemic, invasive, rare, threatened, or endangered species (plants, insects, mollusk, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals).

Outside of work, over the past 20+ years I have annually searched for, identified, monitored, studied, photographed, and admired some large population(s) of Hexalectris species that occur in Texas. I also track and photograph several populations of Cypripedium, Corallorhiza, Spiranthes, Erythronium and others in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
