I am an amateur naturalist and a member of the Philadelphia Botanical Club. My ID skills currently are pretty lacking so I am hoping that iNaturalist will help improve them. My day job is a biochemist at a biotech company so I love learning about biochemical mechanisms that plants and animals use to survive in their environment.
