I'm mostly a plant person but schooled as a biologist for more general large organisms. I have a BA and MA in Biology from Humboldt State University and I worked for the California Native Plant Society for 10 years. I have also worked at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden, in Berkeley, various CA State Parks, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Lake Tahoe, among other smaller jobs as a botanist/biologist and educator. Right now, I am working as an independent biologist and I am grateful to have work literally in my own backyard, working on a Disturbance Inventory for Wolf Creek. I live on Wolf Creek, in Grass Valley, CA, and will be working to increase the species list for the Wolf Creek Watershed Project, among other things.
