I am a PhD student living in Wales researching coastal shingle bank vegetation including Crambe maritima (Sea kale) and Mertensia maritima (Oysterplant). I have a keen interest in nature and hope to further develop my plant identification skills using iNaturalist.

I am also currently looking for people willing to send leaf tissue specimens of these two species from their local areas, so please get in contact if you would be interested in sending samples for genetic research.
