I have a keen interest in almost everything in nature, but have been studying vascular plants for almost 50 years and birds for even longer. I am especially interested in vascular plants of the district of Muskoka in Ontario and of the province of New Brunswick, wild orchids, ferns and fern allies, emergent aquatic plants, calciphiles, plants of rich hardwood forests, species at risk, endemics, disjunct plant species and newly described species. I'm originally from Bala, Ontario but have lived in Fredericton, New Brunswick for the past 35 years.
