I am very interested in the fauna & flora of the Namib. My parents had a farm on the edge of the Red Namib Dunes. They co-founded the private nature reserve Tirasmountains Conservancy (Naturpark Tirasberge).
For the last 30 years, I spent many holidays and one year sabbatical on the farm, exploring the nature of the tirasmountains and surrounding areas of the Namib desert.
