Biologist based in São Paulo, Brazil. Professor of Botany at UNESP. My primary interest is on plants and algae but I am also interested in biodiversity overall.
As a botanist my researches have been on focussed canivorous plants diversity, phylogeny and biogeography with a particular focus on butterworts (Pinguicula).
Since 2022 I've created iNaturalist projects to work with students aiming to record the local flora in natural areas around the campus.
