Your short tailed weasel was awesome. Now hopefully we can knockout some of the other missing mammals.

Just blew me AWAY! The vole screeched out of the grasses with the weasel HOT on its tail. It slammed into my foot before diving deep into the grasses once again, the weasel barely missing my foot! Well, I was excited and sad that I had missed a chance to get a photo of THAT. I was trying to pin down a photo of the ever illusive Oriole when here they came again! Light was awful, they were FAST. I pointed my camera in the general direction and just kept hitting the shutter. Had no expectation of having captured any images but thoroughly delighted to have found these few blurry confirmations that I was not just seeing things!

I know the image is awful but any guesses about the type of vole? Would be nice to have an ID and check off one more species.
