Caterpillar Expert Profiled in The New Yorker

David Wagner, author of Caterpillars of Eastern North America, is profiled by Elizabeth Kolbert in the current issue of The New Yorker.

I love the quote by Howard Ensign Evans ........ "To a person attuned to smaller creatures, there is no corner of nature not full of excitement, not rich in unsolved problems.” -Howard Ensign Evans

This was a great article! I encourage all of you caterpillar enthusiasts out there to consider joining our citizen science monitoring project (outside of iNaturalist) called Caterpillars Count! (which actually focuses on ALL foliage arthropods, not just caterpillars)

Including you @eraskin!

Check out https://caterpillarscount.unc.edu to learn more!
