We are 2 biologists that have worked all over the Americas and Micronesia. We have a wide background in having studied Arthropods, Birds, Plants, Mammals, Herps, and various marine/freshwater invertebrates. We are also hobbyist mycologists. JD is fascinated by species interactions, particularly those of the insect order hymenoptera. Emilie is fascinated by ornithology having spent time working with forest birds and wading birds. We both gained a shared love of nudibranchs and other slugs after meeting each other on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, USA. We both strongly support community engagement in ecology through citizen science and are on iNaturalist to support its efforts in citizen science.
